Super Red Longfin Bristlenose Pleco

Bring a serious splash of colour to your aquarium with the Super Red Longfin Bristlenose Pleco. These stunning juvenile plecos are already developing their signature deep red to rich orange/red colouration, paired with beautiful long, flowing fins that become even more impressive as they mature.

Super Red Longfins are a selectively bred variety of Bristlenose Pleco (Ancistrus sp.), combining the hardy, peaceful nature of the classic Bristlenose with striking colour and dramatic finnage. Their relatively compact adult size makes them an excellent alternative to many larger pleco species.

They spend much of their time grazing across driftwood, rocks, plants and aquarium surfaces, making them fascinating fish to watch in a planted or natural-style aquarium.
